What you really want is for the thieves or burglars to just keep off your property. The Somfy HD Outdoor Camera scares off burglars with smart motion detection and a siren. The camera also comes with a smart activation function integrated with the app. When you get back home, the system will recognise you and switch itself off and if you go out again, you'll get a reminder via the app on your smartphone to re-activate the camera. That’s convenience for you. It also notifies you via push message if there is motion so you can detect suspicious activity or a break-in. In case of intrusion, you can consult and download the video recordings of the break-ins free of charge (up to 30 seconds, available for 7 days on the cloud). The sharp, HD camera also delivers night vision to keep you safe round-the-clock. To integrate with your home and surroundings, the outdoor camera is available in white and anthracite grey finish. The ideal part is the plug and play system. You can setup this camera in 10 minutes or less, plus it is compatible with known smart home systems.
The Somfy Outdoor Camera can be installed in three different manners:
Connected to a main power socket (cable not supplied)
Connected to an electric wall outlet (for example by replacing a light)
Connected to the power supply of an existing light.
